bpost ships 417,000 parcels per peak day in Belgium. That is a lot of square meter of cardboard surface. Many webshops use standard cardboard boxes, without branding applied. Because it's cheaper or to be less eye-catching for potential thieves. Companies look to target local consumers with advertising. For example Kinepolis, wants to update families on what's playing at the movies.

What if bpost could use the surface of boxes to sell advertising on? Using paper tape, paper stickers or stamping boxes? What if we could use our consumer data, to enable targeting specific audiences, for example to families with children? What might the business model be? Do we split the revenue with e-shops or de sponsor their boxes? How would this fit our operations?
